Barcelona's green line metro.
Print scan.

50mm F2.0 @ 1/30th
Ilford HP5 Plus (400 ISO)

Ilford Multigrade Paper (Filter used: 3 & half)

My third photo ever that I developed myself. Negatives developed (badly) by a local lab.

I quite like the high contrast on this, perhaps not correct technically, but I like it, at least in this shot :)

:w00t: 2nd DD. Thanks again ^Obsidian-Fox!

This has been requested as a print. Please contact me with a note for prints as this photo has been taken with a film camera and I will personally make the print in a darkroom, scanning and re-printing just won't give the same quality ;).

People of Barcelona 6 by *Ockie Few digital images can pull of the look of film, and I applaud ockie for using film here. The grain, the dof, the dust on the print all make me feel i am looking at something by one of the masters of old! (Featured by `Obsidian-Fox)

Film is so cool and here is more proof. I would love to shoot film but it seems like too much work (and $)
:iconockie:
I agree on the too much $... unless you have access to a darkroom and you can develop negatives & prints yourself...
But its still quite expensive even then... Oh well, I shoot about 1 roll each 2 months, so its not too expensive for me :)

It's wonderful to see some film here on dA. With digital taking over, I hope to God some people still partake in the developing process and printing and that it never disappears! Kudos to you. + It's just so fun. :D

Such a beautiful shot. Film has such a better feel to it than digital. I wish I had access to a darkroom so I could do all my own work. I shoot around 4 rolls of film a month and it adds up.

Great shot man. I like the heavy contrast of the stark white geometric train interior against the dark organic shapes of the people on it. Plus there are a lot of subtle details throughout the piece that just add so many dimensions to the piece. Once again well done.

Thanks! :D
I got into developing film & prints not too long ago, so I still need a lot of hours in the darkroom to get good results... ;)

You shoot more film then than I... by now.
I'm hoping to get a quite big amount of film rolls on eBay for a decent price, I just bought all the different sort of of film rolls they had in the local store to see which one I like most, specially when pushed to 1600 (all films I bought were 400 ISO).
I see you're 21 on your profile, are you in a university / college? If so, just ask the teachers that have access to the university's darkroom if there is any chance you can use it...
It worked for me :D

The contrast was meant to be 1/2 filter less (in the enlarger), but I didn't mind it, so I didn't redo the print :)
